Joan Jenion died in April, 2022, at the age of 91. Joan was a long serving member of the Junior School staff in the days when it was based at Cumberland Street. For many years she was charged with settling in the then youngest members of the King’s community into form 1D, where she taught most subjects to seven and eight-year-old boys.  The foundations that she put in place invariably bore fruit in future years for so many King’s boys. She retired just before the Junior School moved to the Fence Avenue site.
