David Woodhead

David Woodhead (Staff, 1977-84) died in May 2024, aged 67. David made a significant contribution at King's even though only for seven
years. He then moved on, first to Trent College, then as Deputy Head at Scarborough College, and finally as Head of Theatre Studies
and Drama at Durham School. At King's, he was a hugely respected academic teacher in the English dept., who was also very active out
of the classroom in both drama and cricket – the latter mainly at U15 level, but also joint with Mark Harbord with the 1st XI for a couple of years. He was also a stalwart at the time of a decent staff cricket side.
