Gordon Meir (Staff, 1968-1996) died in December 2024, aged 78.  He taught Maths at King's to all levels for 28 years. Gordon also had
responsibility for a period as tutor for student and probationary teachers, undertaking these roles with as much conscientiousness as he did in the classroom. He was also involved in the task of joint coach of U12 rugby for many years. NB: Twin sons Adam and Ivan
attended King's, leaving in 1988. Both have since enjoyed exceptionally successful careers.
