Linda joined The Kings School in Macclesfield in 2002, to become part of a newly formed Admissions Team, responsible for recruitment into the whole of the Foundation. Linda never sought the limelight but her many talents were certainly fully recognised by those who worked with her. She was a wizard on the computer, determined to master every aspect, she had an eye to detail, and a quiet and determined work ethic. We were the ‘Dream Team’!

She retired in the summer of 2009 and enjoyed several years of retirement.

Linda died rather suddenly from a heart attack in July 2024. She had been bereft at the passing of her beloved husband, Andrew Green, former Director of Music at Kings, and the only comfort for those left behind is the knowledge that she is reunited with him. She is sorely missed.
