Former pupil and ex 1st XI Cricket Captain James Duffy (Class of 2001) has recently returned from Guyana, where he represented England Over 40s at the Over 40s Cricket World Cup.

England reached the semi finals before narrowly losing to Pakistan, but finished the tournament on a high by defeating South Africa in the third place play off.

James enjoyed an outstanding competition, finishing among the tournament's leading run scorers. During the World Cup he also passed the landmark of 1,000 runs for England Over 40s, a tremendous achievement and recognition of his continued success in the game.

Congratulations to James on both his individual milestone and his contribution to another strong England campaign.
